Previously a Junior Partner at CRB Africa Legal, he is known for his strategic legal thinking and practical approach to complex disputes. He is also a co-author of Getting the Deal Through: Banking Regulation in Tanzania, 2016. Fluent in English and Kiswahili.

Having worked with Ernst & Young (EY) for over six years, he has advised major corporations on corporate tax, VAT, withholding taxes, transfer pricing, TRA audits, and M&A transactions. He has represented clients before the Tax Revenue Appeal Board (TRAB) and Tax Revenue Appeals Tribunal in a broad range of direct tax, indirect tax, and customs matters.

Advocates, and Vission Attorneys, he has broad expertise in complex commercial disputes before the Court of Appeal, Commercial and Land Divisions of the High Court, and at tax and labour tribunals. He also advises on banking & finance, project financing, security documentation, capital markets, insurance, conveyancing, mortgages, debt recovery, and receivership.
